As New England’s leading drug and alcohol testing company, we specialize in transportation compliance and safety. Therefore, we were so glad to sponsor and take part in the NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association Annual Holiday Dinner Meeting last week. Occupational Drug Testing team members had the opportunity to sit in on the FTA Update Panel preceding the dinner meeting, where we brushed up on the latest DOT procurement requirements and procedures. Following the presentation, the dinner meeting was held in the beautiful and historic Worcester Union Station, where several committee members were recognized and honored, including Michael Blondin of Brockton Area Transit.
Several young men and women received college scholarships and gave speeches to thank NEPTA. It was wonderful to see the organization’s gracious work, in person. Also in attendance were two U.S. Marines stationed locally. These honorable men were at the dinner to represent the Toys for Tots foundation, and to pick up the donations brought by the attendees.
On behalf of the Occupational Drug Testing team, we would like to thank NEPTA for including us in the festivities. If you would like further information on the NEPTA Scholarship Program, click here. For information on how to make a difference this holiday season with Toys for Tots, click here.
